Our Take
This is the hot-sleeper version of the three-layer pillow stack. Pillow, zippered cotton protector and — instead of cotton — the collection's cooling pillowcases, which pull heat and moisture away from the skin instead of holding it.
The protector in the middle is the piece most people leave out, and the reason pillows go grey and lumpy in a year. It is woven 100% cotton with a full-length zipper, breathable enough that it does not fight the cooling case above it, and it takes all the sweat and skin oil that would otherwise soak into the fill.
The pillows are the plush down alternative build the collection is known for: hypoallergenic, no quills, machine washable. Every layer carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, and every layer can be washed at home.

Care & Longevity
- Wash the cooling cases cold; no fabric softener, no high heat.
- Wash the protectors monthly, zipped closed, on a normal cycle.
- Wash the pillows every three to four months on a gentle cycle.
- Tumble dry pillows low with dryer balls and dry them through.
- Air everything out fully before it goes back on the bed.
Common Questions
Does the protector cancel the cooling case?
No, because it is woven cotton rather than a laminated waterproof layer. A plastic-backed protector would trap heat; this one breathes.
Why not use the cooling case on its own?
You can, but then sweat goes through it into the pillow fill. The protector is what keeps the pillow itself clean, and it is why this stack lasts.
Can I swap in the cotton cases later?
Yes. The protectors and pillows are the same pieces used in the cotton version of this bundle, so the cases are interchangeable within a size.
How many pieces are included?
