Our Take
Pillows do not usually wear out. They get dirty. Skin oil, sweat and dust work through a thin pillowcase into the fill, and after a year the pillow is heavier, greyer and flatter than it was. A zippered protector is what prevents that, and this bundle pairs two of them with the pillows they belong to.
The protectors are woven 100% cotton with a full-length zipper — breathable, silent, nothing like the laminated plastic covers that crackle every time you move. Washed monthly, they take all the wear a pillowcase cannot.
The pillows are the collection's plush down alternative build: soft with adaptive support, suited to back, side and stomach sleepers, hypoallergenic and machine washable. Both pieces carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.

Care & Longevity
- Wash protectors monthly, zipped closed, on a normal cycle.
- Wash the pillows every three to four months, two at a time.
- Tumble dry on low with dryer balls to bring the loft back.
- Never store a protector or pillow damp; dry them through first.
- Put a pillowcase over the protector — it takes the weekly wear.
Common Questions
Do I still need pillowcases?
Yes. The order is pillow, protector, pillowcase. The case is what you wash weekly; the protector is the barrier underneath that you wash monthly. Pillowcases are sold separately in cotton sateen, cooling and silk.
Does the protector change how the pillow feels?
Barely. It is a thin woven cotton layer, not a membrane. You will not hear it or feel a difference in loft.
How often should the protector be washed?
Monthly is a good rhythm — more often if someone is unwell or if you sweat heavily. Zip it closed before it goes in the machine.
Will the protector fit other pillows?
It fits pillows of the size you order, including most pillows from other makers in that size. A very overfilled pillow will stretch the zipper tight.
