Care & Longevity
- Machine wash the cotton cases cold with like colours, tumble dry low.
- Wash the pillow's outer cover separately; do not machine wash the foam.
- Air the foam fill out for a few hours every month or two.
- Spot clean foam with a damp cloth and let it dry completely.
- Redistribute the fill by hand whenever the pillow feels uneven.
Common Questions
Does shredded foam sleep hot?
Foam of any kind holds more heat than down alternative fill. Shredded foam is better than a solid block because air moves between the pieces, and the cotton case in this bundle is there for exactly that reason. If you run very hot, look at the cooling pillow line instead.
How do I make the pillow lower?
Open the inner cover and take out a handful of fill, then knead what is left flat. Keep the removed fill — it is the only way to put the height back.
Is there an off-gassing smell?
New memory foam has a faint smell that fades. Unzip the cover and let the fill air out in a ventilated room for a day before using it, and it will be gone.
Can I put these pillows in the washing machine?
No. Machine washing breaks down memory foam. Wash the covers and cases, spot clean the foam, and air it out instead.
